What is HyperOx™ Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP)?
HyperOx™ is an advanced water treatment technology that generates highly reactive Hydroxyl Free Radicals (°OH) using a patented electrochemical process. Hydroxyl radicals (°OH) are the most powerful oxidising species used in water treatment. They react almost instantly with contaminants, breaking them down into harmless end products such as carbon dioxide (CO₂) and water (H₂O), without leaving harmful chemical residues.
Water passes through the patented HyperOx™ Electrolysis Cell containing SCBD mixed ceramic oxide coated titanium electrodes. When DC power is applied, Hydroxyl (°OH) Radicals are generated directly within the water, rapidly oxidising organic contaminants, microorganisms and pollutants.
Unlike chlorine, which disinfects but leaves many contaminants behind, HyperOx™ actively destroys contaminants at the molecular level. It significantly reduces chlorine demand, improves water quality, eliminates chloramines and produces fewer harmful disinfection by-products.
